How to use the checklist

Start with the product actually being released, not a similar SKU. Freeze the intended use, quantitative formula, package configuration, product name, directions, and every claim-bearing surface. Open the final-size proof and inspect the container, outer package, inserts, peel-back labels, lid, base, and narrow panels. Leave an item unmarked when evidence is missing, unreadable, contradictory, or tied to another version.

A marked item means only that your team completed a first-pass review step. It does not prove that the wording, order, type size, placement, color-additive use, warning, claim substantiation, registration, listing, safety record, or exemption is adequate. Record the source and reviewer separately, and rerun the check after a material formula, claim, package, or business change.

Recommended review order

1. Resolve intended use and product classification.
2. Review identity and net quantity on the principal display panel.
3. Reconcile the ingredient declaration with the finished formula.
4. Check business details, directions, warnings, and claim context.
5. Connect the released label to MoCRA operational records.
